Sun shines on rescheduled Lions Club 5K Run and Fun Walk

Shen Shellenberger

The Haddonfield Lions Club hosted its second annual 5K Run and Fun Walk on October 8, 2022, and even hurricane Ian could not stop us! The event was held at Christ the King Regional School, and the weather could not have been more perfect!

More than 150 runners and walkers participated and everyone seemed to have a great time as evident by the lively award ceremony held at the Kings Road Brewery in downtown Haddonfield.

The Lions take pride in bringing attention to this worthy cause as every October marks Blindness Awareness Month and this event helps bring a heightened focus on the blind and visually impaired community and the realities of living without sight.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at the 3rd Annual 5K Run and Fun Walk in 2023!
