Leos & Lions & Shoppers, oh, my!

Shen Shellenberger

Leos from the Haddonfield Area Lions Club and Pennsauken Lions Club assisted 21 blind and visually impaired youth selected by the NJ Commission for the Blind at the annual Haddonfield Lions Club Holiday Shopping Spree held on Sunday, December 4, at Target on Route 38 in Cherry Hill.

A parent of a child who participated in the shopping spree wrote to the Haddonfield Area Lions Club, saying that her child had a great experience and thanking those who organized and ran the event.

What a wonderful opportunity, and so many life lessons learned,” the parent wrote. “We thank you for your service, support, and willingness to give all the kids something to be happy and proud of.”
