Haddonfield Area Lions Help with Eyeglass Recycling

Shen Shellenberger

In late April, a group of members from the Haddonfield Area Lions Club went to the NJ Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in Flemington to assist with sorting and organizing glasses that have been collected from Lions Clubs around the state. Haddonfield Lion David Korngruen (left) arranged the effort. Also attending and sorting were Fran DuVernois (right), Lions President Joyce Albrecht (center) and Diane Pacello (not pictured).

"As important as our fundraisers are, a project like this is especially dear to our hearts. Many people in our country and around the world will experience better sight by having proper correction with these glasses," said Albrecht.
