Lions Celebrate 75th Anniversary on the Battleship NJ

Updated: Oct 2, 2019

The Haddonfield Lions celebrated the Club’s 75th Anniversary with a dinner on the Battleship New Jersey. It was a beautiful night with great weather and a atmosphere filled with friendly conversation and lots of Pep! All three Borough Commissioners were in attendance and gave a proclamation honoring the Haddonfield Lions club and their 75 years of service. Captain Walt Urban also gave an fantastic speech about his personal history with this beautiful ship filled with a ton of fascinating details. An absolutely fantastic night was had by all. The night was brought to roaring finish (literally) by one of our distinguished members Chip Adamson shooting the 5 inch gun. What a BANG!!!
