Lions Club Partners with GreenDrop

After the Lions Club Flea Market on September 15th we are partnering with a fantastic organization named Green Drop to benefit those in need as much as we can from one event! What doesn't get sold at the Flea Market can still be re purposed to help our communities, read how GreenDrop does it below.

GreenDrop is the fast and easy way to donate. GreenDrop provides the most convenient way to donate gently used clothing and household goods to assist charitable programs for American Red Cross, Military Order of the Purple Heart, National Federation of the Blind, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Philadelphia.

When it is time to donate, you can bring your items to a convenient GreenDrop location – where a friendly attendant will remove them from your vehicle and provide a tax receipt from your selected charity – OR you can call 1-888-944-3767 to schedule a home pickup.

You may also receive GreenDrop postcards in the mail or an email from us advising you of specific dates when our GreenDrop trucks will be in your neighborhood. Or, you may receive a telephone call from our friendly staff, alerting you to the next time we plan to be in your area. We strive to make donating as convenient as possible! If you prefer to bring donations directly to us, there are more than 30 GreenDrop locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and we are growing! Check out our Location Finder to find the location nearest you.

Whether you come to us at one of our convenient locations or we come to your home, GreenDrop handles all the logistics so your donation experience is fast and easy. Thank you for your generosity!

In 2015, charity proceeds from the sale of the donated goods to the thrift stores exceeded $2.5 million - supporting charitable programs locally and nationwide.
