Many communities and health care facilities have struggled with the need for adequate supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE) due to the Covid19 pandemic. To help with this situation, the Haddonfield Area Lions donated $2,000 designated to be used to purchase much-needed PPE to The Cooper Foundation in Camden.

Jack Tarditi (pictured below), a Haddonfield Lion and member of The Cooper Foundation, said, “We are grateful that we are able to help the brave healthcare workers at Cooper who have risked their own safety to save others.”

The funds were made available with the help of David A. Skrivanek, District Governor, New Jersey Lions District 16-L, and member of the Stafford Township Lions Club.

Haddonfield Area Lions President Alan Stedman said the contribution reflects the mission of Lions Club International. “Our organization is about giving to those in need," Stedman said, "whether it is people dealing with vision impairments, families in need of medical help, community services that rely on volunteer contributions, or area hospitals.”
