Holiday Shopping Huge Success!

Cherry Hill, NJ – December 6, 2016 – More than 30 visually impaired children and teens shopped for their families on Sunday morning at an annual event sponsored by the Haddonfield Lions Club in conjunction with the Pennsauken Lions Club. With the help of Target on Route 38 in Cherry Hill and the LEOS Clubs of high school students from Haddonfield, Pennsauken and Gloucester City visually challenged students received gift cards and picked out gifts for their families. After shopping all the participants had time for socializing, snacks and a visit with Santa. The tradition is now going on 20 years. Students left with wrapped gifts they can put under the tree for their parents, brothers and sisters.

The New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired brings students to shop and every year all who are involved have a meaningful and fun time. Earlier this year, the Lions Clubs of Haddonfield and Pennsauken honored Target for its generosity and participation.
